At a press conference held after a meeting between Minister Dacic and Croatian Police Director Vladimir Faber, Dacic said that police cooperation between the two countries during the previous several months have been very good.
Serbian Police Director Milorad Veljovic said that the two sides have exchanged information regarding certain criminal groups operating in Serbia, Croatia and some other countries.
He pointed out that the Serbian and Croatian police have certain information and therefore all criminal groups, which operate even out of both countries, are in some way under their control.
Veljovic said that murder and other activities of these criminal groups that have recently occurred in Croatia are not only the problem of the Croatian police, but of the entire region.
Faber affirmed that police cooperation between the two countries has been very successful and recalled that four meetings of expert from Serbia and Croatia have been held during the past three months and the police of the two countries communicate every day.
We are very well aware that Serbia and Croatia have to cooperate with other countries in the region as well, concluded Faber.
