Bradic opens 2nd Kustendorf film festival

Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic last night opened the 2nd international film festival Kustendorf, on Mecavnik, where he pointed out that film should deal with serious topics.

Bradic voiced his belief that in a world of power and avarice, there is still a chance for individuals, particularly artists, to express themselves.
Young film directors will start a new mission tonight. I believe that the mission, called Kustendorf, including the best films and lively music, will convey a strong message to those who see the world with wide open eyes and hearts, said Bradic.
The Minister thanked Festival Director Emir Kusturica for initiating such a festival and presented him with an encyclopaedia of operas, which also includes Kusturica’s opera “Time of the Gypsies”.
Kusturica gave his appreciation to the ministry for their recognition of the importance of film and for their financial support
He also announced a fashion show of manually woven clothing and a performance from the Dejan Petrovic brass band.
