In an interview to the Beta news agency, Dacic said that he will sign a Memorandum on Police Cooperation between Serbia and Croatia with Croatian Interior Minister next week, in Zagreb.
Serbia wants good communication with neighbouring countries, as that is a precondition for the fight against organised crime, said Dacic, adding that progress in this respect has been made during previous years.
Dacic recommended that all Balkan countries have officers who will maintain police connections, saying that it is also necessary to improve relations between the police and prosecutor's office and to hand over authority to the judiciary.
The Minister added he will suggest that the National Security Council draft the new "White Book" of organised crime.
Dacic stressed that Serbia expects a hard fight against organised crime, but he is sure Serbia will be able to deal with it.
The Minister also said that it is necessary to provide additional funds for the police, as new units are constantly being formed.
