Ugljanin told the press that the Serbian delegation succeeded in persuading top businesspeople from Turkey to invest in Serbia, adding that this was the main goal of Serbia’s participation.
The Minister voiced hope that Turkish businesspeople will soon visit Serbia and start realising proposed projects.
He added that the projects include the construction of an industrial zone, assistance for underdeveloped municipalities, privatisation of the car factory in Priboj and the provision of investors for Corridor 10, i.e. the road section from Nis to the Bulgarian border.
Ugljanin said that he had had several meetings with businesspeople, representatives of the Turkish government and Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
On his arrival from Turkey, the Minister informed Serbian President Boris Tadic about Gul’s wish to visit Serbia.
