Milosavljevic told Vecernje Novosti daily that the price increase of medicaments is justified due to the growth of the euro against the dinar.
He expressed assurance that oil derivatives and gas will reduce in price at the end of this and at the beginning of next year.
Communal services should not increase in price, he said, adding that the Serbian economy is stable enough to survive the global economic crisis.
Social benefits will be among government priorities in 2009, he announced.
The growth rate will inevitably drop next year, he said.
Speaking about the budget for 2009, the Minister said it will be an "anti-crisis" budget but added that the government will not limit developmental projects.
He expressed his assurance that the government will debate the budget bill next week.
