Speaking at a press conference after the session, Milosavljevic said that the Serbian Commodity Reserves Directorate will purchase corn directly from registered farmers, in order to avoid intermediaries.
He said that payments will be made to registered producers eight days from the submission of documentation and the Serbian government has set aside nearly RSD 835 million for the purpose.
He said that the government today decided to file a countersuit against Croatia before the International Court of Justice and to form a legal team in order to determine the truth regarding war crimes committed in Croatia in the period from 1991 to 1995.
He said that the Serbian government also decided to appoint new ambassadors to Romania, Germany, France, Switzerland, Morocco, Canada and Poland.
The draft law on national awards was adopted at the session, according to which the Serbian President will award various honours and medals.
He said that a Serbian government delegation will travel to Moscow next week to meet with Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shoigu and discuss the implementation of the energy agreement signed between the two countries.
The Minister said that the delegation will be led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic and will consist of Minister of Energy Petar Skundric, Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic as well as state secretaries from several ministries.
