French publisher awarded for promoting Serbian culture

Serbian Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic presented the Dositej Obradovic award to Suzanne Gilles, one of the founders of the Gaia Edition publishing house.
The Dositej Obradovic award is presented to foreign publishers who promote Serbian culture by publishing the works of Serbian authors.
France’s Gaia Edition has published 40 works by Serbian authors over the past 15 years, therefore, Bradic noted, the award had indeed been presented to the right publisher.
The award comprises gold and silver coins featuring Dositej Obradovic, as well as charters, free travel through Serbia and a €10.000 bursary towards publishing the works of 5 Serbian authors.
