53rd Belgrade book fair starts

Writer and academician Dragoslav Mihailovic will today open the 53rd Belgrade Book Fair, with over 800 exhibitors, which will last from October 20 to 26.
This year’s guest of honour is Japan. Exhibiting for the first time at the fair will be Denmark and Ukraine.
Belgrade book fair is the second largest in Europe by number of visitors, preceded only by Frankfurt book fair. The organisers expect 150,000 visitors this year.
