Tender for co-investor for Stara Planina

State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Goran Petkovic announced that a public invitation for choosing the co-investor for "Jabucko Ravniste" resort on Stara Planina has been published.

Petkovic told a press conference that the public invitation was published in Financial Times and Politika, whereas London weekly The Economist will publish it on September 20.
He said that the deadline for submitting the bids is November 7, while the deadline for submitting the written demand for the purchase of tender documentation is October 7.
He added that the documentation will be available from September 23, and precondition for submitting the bids is €2 million warranty.
The State Secretary explained that the tender refers to the first phase of constructing resorts according to master plan, which should accommodate five thousand guests, along with €154 million investments for facilities without infrastructure, the construction of which will be financed by the Serbian government.
He said that the government will own at least 14% of the facilities.
Investors will also have to pay 6% of their income for the state-owned property as well as 14% of the profit they generate for a period of 20 years, he announced.
Petkovic expressed expectation that three bidders that applied for the invitation on May 5 will bid, namely "Imorent", "Energoprojekt Holding" and "Juril".
