Serbian tennis player Jelena Jankovic booked a place in the US Open semi-final by triumphing over Austria’s Sybil Bammer 2:0 (6:1, 6:4).

Second seeded Jelena Jankovic will next meet with fifth seed Russia’s Elena Dementieva.
