The Serbian national basketball team beat Hungary in Belgrade last night 94:60 (27:17; 17:15; 19:20; 31:8) and achieved their second victory in the qualifiers for the 2009 European Championship.

The highest scoring Serbian players were Erceg with 15 and Tripkovic with 13 points, while Tepic garnered 11 points, and Marjanovic, Vujanic and Velickovic 10 points each.
Over 20,000 spectators watched the game in the Belgrade Arena.
In the first round of qualification Serbia triumphed over Italy, and in the next round faces Finland on August 30.
