Asked on the main principles and provisions of the law, he said that it will fully regulate the ties between Serbia and its citizens abroad.
This will be an all-encompassing law with other ministries also participating in its preparation and implementation he said.
According to him, through this law the state will thus help our people cherish our culture, identity and religion.
We will demand also that those abroad are given the right to vote by mail, he said.
Speaking about learning the Serbian language, he noted that this will be another priority for the Ministry.
He also announced a conference to which all our people from the Diaspora will be invited to meet with leading people from Serbia, especially from the business sector.
This conference is to be held by the end of the year, he added.
