Brajovic sends condolences on death of academician Dejan Medakovic

Serbian Minister of Culture Vojislav Brajovic sent today to the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) a telegram of condolence following the death of academician Dejan Medakovic.
“We deeply regret the death of a great man of Serbian science, your member and former president, Dejan Medakovic. Academician Medakovic was at the very top in Serbia when history of arts is concerned.
He was a thinker who has left an indelible mark on Serbian and European culture with his wide ranging works. A fact which impressively bears witness to this is that he was a regular member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, as well as other top international academic institutions,” reads the condolence message by the Minister of Culture.
