Russian representative Dima Bilan and his song "Believe” triumphed at the 53rd Eurovision song contest held at the Belgrade Arena.

Last year’s winner in Helsinki Marija Serifovic handed Bilan the trophy which will from now on be presented to winners of this song contest.
Serbian representative Jelena Tomasevic and her song "Oro" ended sixth place at the contest.
The end of the contest was marked by spectacular fireworks at three sites in Belgrade.
The final was opened by Marija Serifovic, while Serbian tennis player Jelena Jankovic announced the beginning of the contest in front of the Arena.
Romania had the honour to open the contest and their song was followed by acts from 24 countries.
Hosts of the final were singer and composer Zeljko Joksimovic and RTS host Jovana Jankovic. The voting was opened by famous basketball player Vlade Divac.
While the votes were being counted, the audience at the Arena enjoyed music by Goran Bregovic and his "Orchestra for Weddings and Funerals".
