Serbian, Russian energy agreement of great importance for joint future

Serbian Minister of Trade and Services Predrag Bubalo said that the Serbian government’s working group for negotiations on cooperation in the energy sector did not hold session today, but negotiations are going on constantly regarding the proposal of an interstate energy agreement.

Bubalo told a press conference that the working group is in touch and constantly involved in negotiations with the Russian side. He stressed that there is no deadline for signing the agreement.
He said that he is convinced that the agreement on energy between Serbia and Russia will be signed because it is of enormous importance for the future of both countries.
The Minister said that details of the offer cannot be made public while the two sides are negotiating, and explained that once an agreement is reached the document will be brought before Serbian parliament for ratification.
The government adopted a Decree on the price, forms and technical expenses for passports, diplomatic passports and official passports, whose replacement will start in April, said Bubalo.
He noted that 2008 will be marked with activities of the Interior Ministry, as citizens will have to replace their IDs, passports and car registration plates.
The government also decided to introduce 117 new medications in the market based on the licence from the Agency for Medications.
