Djilas said in an interview to daily Vecernje Novosti that projects from the field of infrastructure, education, health care and culture will be financed and strictly controlled, in line with the previously determined necessity.
Most of the projects will be intended for Serbian enclaves south of the river of Ibar since most of the funds have so far been used for northern Kosovo and the life there is much better than in southern enclaves.
The aim of the projects is to build roads, water supply systems, schools, community health centres, hospitals, out-patient departments, the Minister said.
He added that there is an agreement to build an industrial giant after the model of the previous integrated plans, where associated agricultural producers could get registered and get everything necessary for the work more easily – from machinery, intermediate goods and everything else, and then to present their goods in Serbia at prices guaranteed by the state.
The Minister underlined that he is certain that Serbia managed to convince the UN Security Council that Kosovo-Metohija cannot be independent and that he personally believes that many legal norms and procedures are on our side and that Kosovo Albanians will never get the type of independence they want.
