Serbian Minister without Portfolio in charge of implementing the National Investment Plan (NIP) Dragan Djilas said today that this year a sum of RSD 15 million was allocated from the NIP for construction and renovation of school toilets in Serbia.

Djilas told a press conference that he expects next year much larger funds will be allocated from the NIP for this purpose.
Speaking on results achieved until now in this area, he expressed gratitude to Education Minister Zoran Loncar who supported the initiative for construction and renovation of school toilets this year financed by funds from the NIP.
Director of the People's Office of the Serbian President, Tatjana Pasic said that results of a survey done in Serbia show that 55 schools in the country do not have adequate toilet facilities.
Pasic recalled that the People’s Office began an action regarding this problem in March this year and until now 22 toilets have been constructed in 15 municipalities in Serbia.
She said that funds for continuing this work will be secured through the NIP, and the action will continue into the next year.
