Predrag Bubalo at today's press conference
Bubalo told a press conference that the bills on army, defence and position of the Serbian president have now entered procedure, and drafting of the bill on foreign affairs and security agencies is near to completion.
He stressed that the government must finish its part of the work and direct these bills to parliament so that they are adopted in time, while the rest depends upon agreement between parties.
The Minister said that drafting of these bills is the regular activity of the government and is not the result of the meeting between Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Serbian parliament speaker Oliver Dulic.
Bubalo further said that Kostunica informed members of the government on the meeting he had with Dulic regarding the progress made in preparation of laws on elections.
He said that the Serbian government adopted a new Decree on ban of export of wheat and corn, while the export of soya and sunflower will be allowed since adequate amounts of these food grains for commodity reserves have been purchased.
The Minister recalled that the Decree on temporary ban of import of food grains adopted in July will soon cease to be valid and added that the new Decree only limits export of wheat and corn.
