State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Health Tomislav Stantic and Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Tadashi Nagai signed today an agreement on donation from the Japanese government worth €175, 970, intended for support to improvement of the health and education systems in Serbia.

These funds will be used for the community health centre in Lebane, the Branko Radicevic elementary school in Mali Zvornik and the Dr Bosko Vrebalov elementary school in Melenci.
The community health centre in Lebane will receive €66,855 for purchase of an ambulance car, EKG device, defibrilator, ultrasound device and colposcope.
The elementary schools in Mali Zvornik and Melenci will receive €43,117 and €65,998 respectively for reconstruction.
Minister of Education Zoran Loncar said that so far the Japanese government has assisted the reconstruction of 46 schools in Serbia and that in the upcoming period this country will give donations for reconstruction of several music schools.
Directors of the institutions that received the funds thanked the ambassador of Japan and its people and said that they will be of great benefit for the entire population and local communities in the municipalities of Lebane, Mali Zvornik and Melenci.
