Cvetkovic told the press conference that tax revenues amounted to RSD 368 billion while non-tax revenues RSD 54.6 billion and noted that revenues and expenditures in the state coffers are increasing.
In the first nine months, nearly RSD 32 billion were paid for repayment of due annuities of foreign debt, he said and added that if this trend continues the state will finance not only current expenditures and other pending liabilities.
The budget will have to secure RSD 65 billion or nearly €800 million next year for repayment of pending liabilities to foreign creditors such as the Paris Club of creditors and repayment of old currency savings, the Minister explained.
Cvetkovic announced that a public debate on the working version of the Draft law on denationalisation will start in two months and noted that this act will be ready for application in early 2008.
According to him, the property will be repaid in kind where possible or through financial compensation or other real estates in return.
He said that the value of property due to be returned to original owners is worth over €4 billion.
Cvetkovic also announced four round tables which will discuss the working version of the denationalisation bill.
