The conference is supported by the Serbian Ministry of Culture, the EU Integration Office and other state and city bodies.
Vasic said in a press conference that the conference will be organised as part of the university’s 50th anniversary, which is also the anniversary of the EU.
Nearly 100 domestic and foreign experts in culture, arts, education and media will attend the conference.
The conference will also present 20 scholarly works and surveys.
Conference Director Nevena Dakovic announced that Jan Truscinski of the European Commission will open the conference in the City Hall on October 11.
Assistant Minister of Culture Branislav Dimitrijevic pointed out that the Ministry is very interested in such integrative projects and recalled that the University of Arts has developed a serious post-graduate programme.
Our wish to enter the EU has been shown a number of times, and membership requires certain commitments, of which the University of Arts is well aware, Dimitrijevic said.
