Belgrade gets Eurovision key

Helsinki Mayor Jussi Pajunen handed over the key of the Eurovision Song Contest to Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Radmila Hrustanovic today in the Old Court.
Serbia is host of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest thanks to Marija Serifovic’s victory in May this year in Finland.
Pajunen congratulated Belgrade on having the chance to host the competition and handed over the key of Eurovision with the names of 52 other host cities from previous years.
Hrustanovic expressed hope that Belgrade will use its chance and that 400 million viewers worldwide will get to know Belgrade.
