Naumov told reporters in the Bayrakli mosque in Belgrade that that will be a long-lasting process and that it is in Serbia's interest to develop religious education.
In that way, we will have young and educated religious officials and that will be the way to cherish tolerance in Serbia, the Minister said.
The Minister, who in the previous several days visited four Orthodox secondary schools, one Catholic high school and two madrasas, said that the state has paid great attention to secondary and higher theological education and education provided by madrasas.
Belgrade Mufti Muhamed Jusufspahic said that the Islamic community in Serbia is satisfied with cooperation with the Ministry of Religion, which was crucial in some moments, as when the Belgrade madrasa was set on fire on March 17, 2004.
