73rd Vukov Sabor opens in Loznica

Serbian State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture Ivana Stefanovic opened the 73rd Vukov Sabor last night by saying that even today we rely on the name of Vuk Stefanovic-Karadzic when formulating the national identity.
Vuk Stefanovic-Karadzic played a major role in preservation of the Serbian language and the Cyrillic script.
This year’s event in Loznica is being organised by the Loznica municipality and Vuk Karadzic culture centre from Loznica, under the auspices of the Serbian Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Economy and Regional Development whereas RTS is in charge of media coverage.
