Presenting the results of the first 100 days of the work of the Ministry of Finance at a press conference held in the Serbian government, Cvetkovic said that more funds have been set aside for Vojvodina as well, while the National Investment Plan has been included in the current budgetary expenditures.
He said that this year's GDP records a growth of 7%, while public debt's share in GDP is around 30%, with the tendency of further decline.
Retail prices in 2007 increased by 6.3% on average. In 2005, they increased by 17.7% and in 2006 by 6.6%.
The Minister of Finance said that the first version of the bill on restitution will be prepared soon.
He explained that the bill on restitution will not be much different from the proposal made by the previous government and which is based on natural restitution of property in all cases where possible.
There will be a public discussion on the restitution bill. The priority will be the natural return of property and it will be taken into account that the state cannot assume financial responsibilities that exceed $4 billion, the Minister of Finance underlined.
