On the occasion of 100 days of government work, Jocic told Tanjug news agency that fight against crime is constant.
As far as this Ministry is concerned, a great job was done on police reform not only in normative sense but essentially.
Speaking on the fight against organised crime, the Minister noted that in the circumstances of transition, the experiences of countries that went through transition phase is known, and there is almost no part of social life that is immune on organised crime.
Jocic especially emphasised the contribution of the Special Prosecution and excellent cooperation between the Ministry and the Prosecution, announcing more severe fight against drug crime.
According to him, cooperation with police offices in the region is important but also with other police offices in the world.
He said that police took great commitment in terms of securing borders and added that one of Ministry’s priorities will be to enable border police completely.
Jocic said that in his opinion there are no organised terrorist groups in Serbia and noted that there is a special department for this issue which cooperates with the Security and Intelligence Agency.
Jocic described the situation in the Ground Safety Zone, in the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, is stable.
Speaking on control of possession and carrying arms, the Minister said that a too restrictive approach would not solve the problem as the logical consequence would be more unregistered weapons.
Instead, the new law should make control stricter for those who want to get arm licence, with compulsory mental checkups, Jocic said.
He said that the Ministry is supervising work of sects and noted that whole society should act preventively.
We will even ban games if our orders are not respected, the Minister of Interior said.

Speaking on the new law on passports, Jocic announced that this bill should be presented to deputies these days, and after it is adopted Serbian citizens will get a safe passport protected from forgery.
Speaking on prevention of riots at sports events, Jocic said that police will get greater authority in the new regulation and will be able even to ban entrance to sports games to certain persons who are prone to incidents.
