According to a statement by the Ministry of Religion, it was jointly concluded that Kosovo-Metohija is an unalienable part of Serbia, in accordance with the Serbian Constitution, the UN Charter and all valid norms and documents upon which the international order rests, and not even a single country in the world can be asked to give up a part of their territory.
It was stressed that in order to safeguard peace and stability in the region it is necessary that without haste and without setting artificial deadlines conditions are created for new negotiations to find a solution based on compromise.
It was stated that cooperation between the state and the Jewish community is excellent and this cooperation will continue in the upcoming period.
The meeting was attended by Rabbi of the Serbian Jewish community Isaac Asiel and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Serbia Aleksandar Necak, reads the statement.
