Serbian Minister of Religion Radomir Naumov met today with representatives of the Islamic community in Serbia, the Ministry of Religion stated.
Respecting provisions of international law guaranteeing inviolability of borders is especially important today, representatives of the Islamic community said and promised its contribution in preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
The cooperation between the Ministry and the Islamic community is very good and all issues are solved with mutual understanding and respect, it was concluded in the meeting.
It was particularly emphasised that the Islamic community is important for further promotion of cooperation, tolerance and dialogue between churches and religious communities in Serbia.
