Reconstruction of Historical Museum of Serbia continues

The Serbian Ministry of Culture stated today that because of the reconstruction works on the Historical Museum of Serbia, the Museum of History of Yugoslavia which uses parts of its building, will be temporarily moved out.
In the previous period, the Ministry realised one of the priority tasks and provided the space for permanent exhibition, storage of exhibits and conservatory workshops of the Historical Museum of Serbia.
The reconstruction project has been completed and the funds were approved from the National Investment Plan, the Ministry said adding that reconstruction is already underway.
The Ministry of Culture points out that efforts of the state must be respected to reconstruct institutions of culture and to improve the quality of their work, according to the statement.
