Speaking at a press conference held after the government session, Bubalo said that the aim is to sign the agreement on visa relaxations in September so that it could come into force on January 1, 2008.
He said that the Chinese Deputy Prime Minister will visit Serbia over April 17 and 18 and that he will meet with Serbian government officials. On that occasion, the Protocol on phytosanitary conditions for export of cereals to China will be signed.
The Minister explained that this is a very important document that will remove all obstacles due to which Serbia could not export cereals to China in the past 25 years.
He added that an agreement on cooperation in the area of agriculture will also be signed between ministries of the two countries.
The Serbian government adopted at its session today a Platform for the participation of the Serbian delegation at the spring session of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, which will be held from April 12 to 17 in Washington, said Bubalo.
According to Bubalo, members of the government adopted today the Information by Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica regarding the course of the session of the UN Security Council in New York, where a debate was held regarding the proposal for the future status of Kosovo-Metohija presented by UN Special Envoy Marti Ahtisaari.
