Representatives of Serbian museums to get professional training in Louvres, d’Orsay

The Serbian Ministry of Culture stated today that French Minister of Culture Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres sent a letter to Serbian Minister of Culture Dragan Kojadinovic confirming that museums Louvres and d’Orsay are willing to host representatives of Serbian museums as part of the policy of welcoming foreign professional culture staff.
The statement adds that this exchange will give a new spur to cultural cooperation between Serbia and France, which has always been based on friendship, and enable more activities between the two ministries.
French cultural institutions are at Serbia’s disposal and will answer all requests for expertise, reads the French Minister’s letter.
The statement recalls that a mission comprising experts from Louvres, d’Orsay and the French culture ministry attended a seminar on museum policies held this February in Belgrade.
