Support to Serbian representative in Eurovision Song Contest

Serbian Assistant Minister of Diaspora Miodrag Jaksic announced today that this ministry will organise a campaign to support Marija Serifovic, who will be Serbian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki.

In a reception held in the ministry’s premises, Jaksic said that the Diaspora can, by televoting, help Marija Serifovic get a good position in this competition.
The Eurovision Song Contest is a good opportunity for the country’s promotion, Jaksic said.
Serifovic thanked the Ministry for Diaspora for support and noted that this is the first institution to back her publicly.
