A bust of famous scientist Mihailo Pupin was unveiled last night at New York’s Columbia University. The bust was presented to the University in 2002 by president of the then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Vojislav Kostunica.
Pupin’s bust was unveiled together with the bust of Edwin Howard Armstrong, the scientist who invented the frequency-modulated or FM radio.
The bust, which was sculpted by Serbian sculptor Drinka Radovanovic, was presented to Columbia University by Vojislav Kostunica during a visit in 2002.
