Serbian stand at Leipzig book fair opens

President of the Leipzig book fair Wolfgang Marzin and Serbian Ambassador in Berlin Ognjen Pribicevic opened today the Serbian national stand at the book fair in Leipzig, in which Serbia is participating for the first time this year.
The Serbian stand was opened in the presence of several guests, including representatives from the political, cultural and public spheres of Germany, as well as a number of diplomats.
This year the book fair in Leipzig has attracted more than 2000 publishers from 40 countries, and Serbia’s participation in this event was made possible by the Serbian Ministry of Culture and the Serbian embassy in Berlin.
The Serbian stand presents activities of Serbian cultural institutes, the cultural and tourism potential of Serbia, a number of publications and anthologies of Serbian poetry and prose, and a catalogue of Serbian writers.
