Director of the Serbian Investment and Export promotion Agency (SIEPA) Jasna Matic stated today that at the International Trade Fair for Fashion Wear, Lingerie and Accessories "CPM Moscow 2007", held from February 27 until March 2, Russian companies showed considerable interest in textile products from Serbia.

Matic told a press conference held at the Serbian government that such interest indicates that Serbian textile companies may soon have capacity related problems and stressed that there is great demand in the Russian market for “our style", and that Serbian companies should take advantage of this opportunity to export their goods.
Advisor to the USAID Serbian Entrepreneurship Development Project (SEDP) Timothy Collins recalled that this is the 12th time that Serbian companies have taken part in international fairs in Europe and the US with support of the USAID/SEDP.
He stressed that Serbia has a good sense of style and style is a huge intellectual asset, adding that a lot of effort was invested in the joint participation of Serbian companies in Moscow.
Representatives of Tiffany from Cacak, Trikotaza Ivkovic from Bolec and Klik agency from Belgrade said they were pleased with their presentation at Serbia's national exhibition stand in Moscow, adding that the Russian market represents a huge potential for Serbian companies.
Companies Legend from Subotica, Mona from Belgrade, Garman from Arilje, Zekstra from Belgrade, as well as Exit and Utip from Novi Pazar were also presented at the fair.
