Belgrade's 35th film festival FEST opens

Last night, the 35th film festival FEST opened at the Sava Centre with the screening of the Serbian film "Trap" by Srdjan Golubovic.

The most important film festival in Serbia was officially opened by a guest of honour, American director Bob Rafelson.
The "Trap", a drama of moral temptation of an ordinary, good man, pressed down by life's ordeals in contemporary Serbia, was previously screened with great success at the Berlin festival.
At the 35th FEST, over 80 films from 30 countries, selected by artistic director Miroljub Vuckovic, will be shown by March 4 at the Sava Centre and other theatres in Belgrade.
This year, FEST introduced a competitive section themed "Europe outside Europe", in which eight films from outside the EU will be screened.
