Vienna Philharmonic in Belgrade on June 26

Belgrade, 15 June 2004

On June 26, Belgrade audience will have an opportunity to hear Vienna Philharmonic for the first time. The concert themed "Philharmonic Vienna - Music for All" will be held at Sava Centre. The orchestra will be conducted by Ol Rudner. The programme includes Rossini's "L'Italiana in Algeri", Beethoven's Piano Concert No. 4 and Mendelssohn's Scotch Symphony No. 3.

Belgrade, June 15, 2004 - On June 26, Belgrade audience will have an opportunity to hear Vienna Philharmonic for the first time. The concert themed "Philharmonic Vienna - Music for All" will be held at Sava Centre. The orchestra will be conducted by Ol Rudner. The programme includes Rossini's "L'Italiana in Algeri", Beethoven's Piano Concert No. 4 and Mendelssohn's Scotch Symphony No. 3.

The Swedish conductor Ola Rudner started his career as a high-profile violinist and leader of various orchestras such as the Camerata Salzburg, the Volksopera Vienna and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Ola Rudner has conducted almost all major symphony orchestras, especially in Australia and Scandinavia.
