Following an article published in daily Blic that upset the public, Vukcevic stressed that not one of the military draftees is threatened with arrest.
He described the sub-title “Arrest threat for many draftees on the border” as irresponsible.
He recalled that with the adoption of the amnesty law, the state pardoned all draftees abroad against who there were 7,900 criminal reports and 1,800 criminal proceedings.
He cited the document of the Ministry of Defence saying that persons with dual citizenship may choose where to carry out their military service.
