If Serbian parliament members adopt the amendments, passengers will be entitled to a refund for all services that travel agencies fail to provide. The amendments might also expand the package of travel insurance services by including health insurance, accidents, loss of baggage and cancellation of the trip.
According to the Minister, in order to obtain a working licence, tourist agencies will be required to offer packages with all types of insurance to passengers, in which process the price of the package should not exceed 2% of the tour's total price.

Director of the Association of Tourist Agencies (JUTA) Rade Stankovic said passengers most often opt only for health insurance because continuing low purchasing power means they can not afford other types of services.
Stankovic said that JUTA will sign contracts with all insurance companies so that passengers can choose between different offers of insurance policies.
Director of the Serbian Tourist Organisation Miodrag Popovic said that commercials on Serbia's tourist offer will start to be broadcast on CNN in late November and added that funds for this promotion have been set aside from the National Investment Plan.
