Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, spoke today with Ambassador of Ireland to Serbia Kevin Colgan about improving the overall relations between the two countries.
Macut highlighted the importance of further improving economic cooperation, especially in the areas of information technology, innovation, trade and investment.
He thanked Ireland for its support for Serbia's European path and expressed his expectation that its presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2026 would contribute to our country's progress in the European integration process.
Ambassador Colgan emphasised that Ireland is interested in further strengthening its partnership with Serbia and deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
