Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić stated today that the Ministry of the Interior has engaged all available human and technical capacities in extinguishing the fire in Deliblato Sands.

Dačić specified that helicopters from the Helicopter Unit as well as 32 firefighters and rescuers from 12 vehicles were engaged, with the support of members of the fire and rescue units.
He said that members of the Ministry of the Interior are continuing intensive activities to completely eliminate all hot spots and prevent the fire from spreading again.
