Kojadinovic said that Louvre was offered several exhibitions, including frescoes and paintings, and announced a visit of Serbian experts to Louvre soon.
Loyrette said that the working visit of Minister Kojadinovic to Paris came at the time when Louvre is putting efforts to enforce its European connections, especially with the Slovenes and announced Louvre’s exhibitions in Belgrade.
He said that the Serbian audience will see part of Louvre’s collection which is made up of more than 35,000 items while the French public will see some of Serbian best museum exhibits.
According to Loyrette, Louvre is especially interested in Serbian archeological period and medieval art.
Kojadinovic added that building a joint museum in Belgrade is also being considered.
