Macut said that Serbia will continue to be a reliable partner for Republika Srpska, and added that cooperation will continue to develop in the coming period through specific projects and joint initiatives.
The meeting in Trebinje, as he said, represents a continuation of cooperation and regular talks between the two governments, in accordance with previously reached agreements on more intensive institutional connections between Serbia and Republika Srpska.
According to him, the next meeting will be held in Banja Luka on 23 June.
The prime ministers also discussed the construction of Trebinje airport and further steps that need to be taken in order to successfully implement this important project.
Macut reminded that a significant part of the planning and project-technical documentation has been completed in the previous period, and that it is expected that an environmental permit will be issued soon.
He added that it was agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the areas of railway infrastructure, gas interconnection, justice, education and science.
Minić expressed satisfaction with the regular meetings with Prime Minister Macut, stating that each meeting takes a step forward in terms of improving cooperation.
In the presence of the two prime ministers, ministers of justice of Serbia and Republika Srpska – Nenad Vujić and Goran Selak – signed a statement of intent, which refers to determining the necessary steps in the process of mutual recognition of bar exams and strengthening institutional cooperation in the field of justice.
