Diaspora Minister awarded St. Sava’s Medal of Second Order

Bishop of Sabac Lavrentije presented today the St. Sava’s Medal of the Second Order to Serbian Minister for Diaspora Vojislav Vukcevic that was granted to him by the Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church at the proposal of Patriarch Pavle.

Bishop Lavrentije commended Vukcevic for his effort in connecting the Diaspora to its fatherland and stressed that to our people in the Diaspora every connection with the fatherland means a great deal.
He also said that the Ministry for Diaspora did a lot so that our people living abroad do not feel forgotten.
