Macut pointed out that this year’s slogan of the fair, Unmasked Technology, describes very well the times we live in, adding that, as a medical doctor, professor and a man who has dedicated his entire life to science, he deeply believes that knowledge, research and innovation are a country’s greatest strength.
The Prime Minister said that he is proud that Serbia is investing in the development of science and technology parks, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and connecting science and industry, bearing in mind that this is the basis of future development.
According to him, it is particularly important that the fair will also feature a presentation of the potential of Specialised Expo 2027, which is a great opportunity to showcase Serbia to the world as a country of knowledge, innovation and creativity.
The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the fact that there are many young people, scientists, start-ups, institutes and businesspeople at the fair, who, through their work, demonstrate that Serbia has the knowledge and potential to be part of contemporary global flows.
He expressed his gratitude to all those who contribute to the development of science and technology in Serbia with their work, assessing the 68th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements as one of the most significant events of this type in the region.
Macut also visited the exhibition “Play for Humanity! Science for All – Technology and Innovation Shape the Future”.
The International Fair of Technology and Technical Achievements features 600 exhibitors from 31 countries, with Republika Srpska as the main partner.
