Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar, on the sidelines of the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026).
Macut and Pirc Musar assessed that there is significant scope for further deepening cooperation in numerous areas of mutual interest, including energy, infrastructure and innovation.
The Prime Minister pointed to the importance of an even more intensive political dialogue, emphasising the need for more frequent meetings between officials and joint sessions of the two governments.
Pirc Musar underlined that relations between the two countries are at a high level and stressed that Serbia is one of Slovenia’s main partners, adding that economic relations are highly developed.
She stated that Slovenia will continue to support Serbia’s European path and its accession to the European Union.
The importance of stability and cooperation in the region was highlighted as a key prerequisite for the economic development and progress of all Western Balkan countries, with agreement that contacts at all levels will be intensified in the coming period with the aim of implementing joint initiatives.
