Parivodic told Tanjug that essential economic reforms in Serbia cannot be implemented by means of the present Constitution.
The new Constitution will unblock the country’s economy and will send a clear signal to international community that Serbia does not agree to usurpation of Kosovo-Metohija, Parivodic said.
He also noted that a public debate on the country’s fundamental legal act has been going on for five years.
Parivodic also said the new Constitution allows equality of private, cooperate and public property and guarantees their protection. He noted that public property includes property of state bodies, the republic, autonomous province and municipalities.
