Celebration of eight centuries of Zica monastery starts

The celebration of 800 years since the monastery of Zica was erected started today with the liturgy served by Metropolitan of Zagreb-Ljubljana and the whole of Italy Jovan.
Serbian Minister of Religion Milan Radulovic, Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov and Crown Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic attended the event.
A series of scientific meetings, cultural and spiritual events dedicated to Zica will be held over the next two years, until October 7, 2008.
