Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović today acquainted Governor of China’s Hebei Province Wang Zhengpu with the potential of Serbia’s wine industry, ahead of her upcoming visit to the Chinese province.
Mesarović announced that, in the coming period, she will lead a delegation of business representatives from the Republic of Serbia to Hebei, with the aim of presenting Serbian products, primarily wines, on a market of as many as 73 million people.
I expect further development of the wine industry, as well as growth in exports of brandies, spirits, food and agricultural products, bearing in mind the increasing demand coming from the Chinese market, she stated.
The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that Serbia has concluded a Free Trade Agreement with the People’s Republic of China, which makes Serbia’s products competitive on the Chinese market.
