Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović took part in a roundtable dedicated to deepening economic cooperation with China’s Hebei Province, a market of 73 million people, which confirmed the enormous potential for further growth of Serbia’s economy.

Deepening cooperation with Hebei unlocks new investment prospects for Serbia

Mesarović stated that the discussion focused on concrete mechanisms to drive the growth of Serbia’s GDP and attract fresh investments from China, primarily in the fields of the automotive industry, robotics and new technologies, in which Hebei Province is highly developed.
She added that special emphasis was placed on the placement of Serbian products – from wines, brandies, honey and jams to other food industry products.
She announced that in the second half of April she will visit Hebei with a Serbian delegation, where they will present Serbian products and hold talks with retail chains.
Chinese investors demonstrate a high level of confidence in Serbia, as reflected in continuous reinvestments and the expansion of their operations, the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
